Photography: Golden Retrievers Tucker and Copper

June 23, 2014 Stephanie

The bond between a pet and its owner is something very difficult to describe to non-pet owners. If you try to explain that the connection is like that of a parent and child, especially to those with human children, most will scoff and roll their eyes at the comparison.

But we pet owners understand, don’t we? There’s something incredibly special about the unconditional love a pet provides. They don’t care how we look or what we do for them or how much money we have or where we’re going to take them on vacation. The only thing they care about is our love…receiving it and giving us theirs in return.

As a pet owner who sees our dog Quinley as our child, I can’t think of anything more special than documenting our moments with professional photography. And Hot Dog! Pet Photography would definitely be a first choice. I’m sure you’ll agree after seeing their images shown here.

Meet two of the most handsome gentlemen in Orlando: Golden Retrievers Tucker and Copper! Tucker, with his flowing golden locks, is the big brother at age 11, while Copper is the “red-headed” 9-year-old younger brother! Aren’t they sweet looking?

These two are definitely mama’s boys, and I think it’s safe to say Sarah is equally smitten with them. Both Tucker and Copper are therapy dogs for hospitals and children’s programs, which is perfectly fitting as their sweet and playful personalities can easily bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Unfortunately Tucker was recently diagnosed with cancer, so it was important for mama Sarah to capture their bond while he was still feeling like himself. It’s never easy to know a beloved pet is ill, but having these gorgeous images will help Sarah for years to come!

Thanks to Sarah, Tucker, Copper and Hot Dog! Pet Photography for sharing these wonderful images with us today!

Thanks for stopping by!

Such a wonderful portrait session, and such handsome Golden boys! I feel the same as you do, Stephanie — our dog is like our kid! I so want to have some professional photos taken at some point. Sending hugs to these guys, and wishing all the best for Tucker’s health.
