Summer is almost here. Time to pick up with the family and hit the road!
But I have a confession about this. Since Kevin and I adopted our Quinley nearly four years ago, our travels have become less frequent. We didn’t plan it like this though. I mean we still love to travel. We just haven’t done a lot of traveling in the past few years because we enjoy having her with us so much that we don’t want to leave her.
But with more and more hotels, shops and restaurants around the country becoming pet friendly, traveling with your fur baby is getting easier than ever. And with Quinley being a bit older and better trained, we’ve been spreading our wings again and plan to do a lot more of it in the coming months.
TRAVEL DOG PLACEMATS from $14
So we’ve been stocking up on travel gear for her as well. And while I know Kevin and I agree on quality, I’m also big on style.
If you’re like me and want both for your doggy, be sure to hook them up to travel with luxury eco friendly pet products by Harry Barker.
FOLD UP DOG BOWLS AND POUCH from $26
Harry Barker is a luxury pet product company started by former fashion model Carol Perkins while recovering from Cushing’s Disease, a life threatening and rare brain tumor. Stuck at home during recovery, Carol turned to her love of dogs and textiles for therapy – and began creating dog beds, toys and robes for her friends’ pets. Soon, she was taking orders and hand sewing each one with care – launching Harry Barker from a table in her New York City loft.
RED & WHITE STRIPE DOG PLAY BALLS GIFT BUCKET – $29.99
Today, Harry Barker uses earth friendly fabrics and azo-free dyes, eco-fleece and “green” bed inserts made from 100% post consumer recycled plastics. Harry Barker features all natural ingredients for treats and biodegradable shampoos.
TRAVEL DOG FOOD STORAGE BAG from $26
Whether it’s a collar made from 100% certified recycled plastics, a hemp striped dog bed filled with eco-fiberfill, or biodegradable pet waste bags made from recycled plastics, Harry Barker aims to improve the lives of pets and their people.
Today I’ve shared with you a few of my favorite travel products from their line to make your summer plans easier, more stylish and of course eco friendly!
You might think getting collapsible bowls and food storage bags are not needed. But from experience, the convenience of having such items all in one place for her has really helped us a lot.
Plus, they’re perfect to keep for use in your pet’s emergency kit when not traveling. Two uses in one. I definitely like that!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cute! I love the “good dog” bucket, especially. Unfortunately, my pups are NOT travelers. Stubborn little things. 😉
